Association of the Swiss Aggregate and Concrete Industry (ASAC)
ASAC represents the interests of the Swiss aggregate and concrete industry and ensures that the supply and disposal of raw materials is done in accordance with sustainable principles. It is committed to creating a positive perception of the aggregate and concrete industry, promotes industry-specific training and further education and offers tailor-made services to its members.
Association of Swiss Concrete Admixtures (ASCAM)
The Association of Swiss Concrete Admixtures (ASCAM) was founded in 1981. In the first few years after its founding, ASCAM focused on developing robust activities with the goal of raising the quality of concrete admixtures. This resulted in the creation of the first ASCAM guidelines, which would soon be integrated into the national standards for concrete. Work then followed within the framework of the European Federation of Concrete Admixtures Associations (EFCA) on the standardisation of the quality of concrete admixtures at a European level. More recently, ASCAM has conducted research on ecological issues connected to the recycling of concrete demolition waste and the leaching behaviour of organic materials. ASCAM also issues guidelines on the development of environmentally friendly concrete admixtures.

As the association for Swiss manufacturers of high-quality concrete products, we support and represent our members in political and economic contexts and work actively on ensuring that prefabricated concrete products become a byword for quality, responsibility and efficiency so that they continue to be manufactured in Switzerland in the future.

Betonsuisse information platform
Betonsuisse Marketing AG is the information and communication platform for concrete in Switzerland. This organisation is supported by four associations in the building materials industry: cemsuisse, ASAC, ASCAM and SwissBeton. Betonsuisse promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience with practice-oriented specialist events, architectural trips and publications, and awards the Concrete Architecture Prize every four years. As well as offering a wealth of inspiration and knowledge about concrete as a building material, the Betonsuisse website also provides a great deal of further information on publications, as well as links and downloads.
